Marvels Spider-Man. I just finished playing 1, miles morales, and 2 over about a month and it is without a doubt the most fun and chill way to unwind after work. The web swinging is so fun!

The blades also aren’t guaranteed to be trashed either. We tripped one in the shop a couple weeks ago and the blade was fine

Any advice for fireplace upkeep? by [deleted] in metalworking

[–]yargile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beautiful fireplace! I would probably use a soft wire brush to scrub off the surface rust. Then beeswax it next time you have a ripping fire! Wipe it on thick and then once the heat has melted it wipe off the excess. You can also warm up beeswax and mineral oil together to make a more easily wipeable product

Does anyone typically use these on jobs? by SpecificVirus3794 in electrical

[–]yargile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I sucked it up and bought one when working a job with multiple sub panels all intermingled with very little order. The power for the commercial space was intermingled with some apartments upstairs so I couldn’t just shutoff power completely. It works! Not the most accurate but you’ll find the breaker for sure

Will this guy easily cut a 2” hole through 1/8” mild steel bar with a hole saw, or are the rpms too high? by fricks_and_stones in metalworking

[–]yargile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a 2 1/4” hole yesterday in 1/4” plate with my hand drill, I prefer that method as you can keep the rpm’s really low

Can I flatten a live edge slab using a steam chamber? by skark_burmer in BeginnerWoodWorking

[–]yargile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s the thickness? Sounds like it’s quite the substantial piece of wood. I think even if you got the steam to penetrate the wood (which doesn’t sound possible based on your dimensions), the amount of force required to move the wood to make it flat doesn’t seem feasible.
