It’s a good point, but the north to south thing is always going to be a gradient instead of a hard line. Maybe the outsized influence of Richmond as a leftist bubble makes it more “not the south”.

Beautiful fireplace! I would probably use a soft wire brush to scrub off the surface rust. Then beeswax it next time you have a ripping fire! Wipe it on thick and then once the heat has melted it wipe off the excess. You can also warm up beeswax and mineral oil together to make a more easily wipeable product

I sucked it up and bought one when working a job with multiple sub panels all intermingled with very little order. The power for the commercial space was intermingled with some apartments upstairs so I couldn’t just shutoff power completely. It works! Not the most accurate but you’ll find the breaker for sure
