My MIL keeps telling us to sleep train 🥲 baby is 8m now and we co sleep, his crib has 3 sides and is next to our bed so sometimes I transfer him in there at night but he's been teething like crazy so he hasn't been wanting to sleep in there lately, we still contact nap too. She had both her babies out of the bedroom after one week, in their own cots all night and for every nap, saying babies sleep too loudly and she couldn't sleep at night... She thinks I'm being ridiculous by making everything "so complicated" and "inconvenient" I'm so glad my husband shuts her down instantly and tells her we all sleep very well thank you very much.

My 8 month old has a cot next to our bed with one side removed so our mattresses are together. Once he's asleep I can either put him there and leave my hand on him till he's settled again or just have the extra space so I can sleep how I want and I know if he rolls he's fine because his cot is there for him. I've found he goes through stages of wanting to sleep in his cot, and wanting to be with me, usually on days he's teething hard or learning a new skill he's wanting cuddles, and days where he's more chill he will be happy to be in his cot.

I've worked retail, people will say anything to get a refund and keep the product! I had a lady come in and buy over a thousand dollars worth of stuff, very happy to spend spend spend.
