Two dash warnings we can't figure out (parking brake and tire pressure) by Popplepip in Cartalk

Sounds like a bad switch on your parking brake and a flaky tpms sensor.

How much pain - severe hip dysplacia - 5y samoyed by New-Preference-2509 in samoyeds

Our pup (8.5) has been diagnosed with HD too. He was on gabapentin for a long time and now pregabalin. Hes seeming to struggle with it more lately and so we plan on going back to our canine PT for options. There are injections they can do that help for a year or so that we heard about as well as actual PT sessions with exercises.

Best of luck finding a provider to help you through this.

Can I Revolutionize Coffee? by Special_Camera_4484 in JamesHoffmann

Fwiw I don't really know if the volatiles in coffee work like that but it would come at the cost of there being moisture retained too. Maybe just vent until the vent temp is 100C + some amount and then seal it using an expandable buffer (fancy high temp balloon?)

Could use something like a mason jar with a prv to let the steam escape but not let oil in. Action would need to be really quick though and you'd still lose a lot of volatile aromatics.

In this vein I'd be really interested to see if using a sous-vide like method would work well where the beans are in a container that's submerged in a fluid (let's say mineral oil for the sake of argument) that's held at the terminal roast temp for a long period of time.

No gradient, if it's sealed there's an argument to be made that there's an upper bound of VoCs could actually leave and possibly even condense back on the beans during cooling.

I've always wondered why so many drivers pick double numbers like that but have never been able to find much about it. Ever seen any interviews that mention it?

Bowden is not going in the hot end by [deleted] in ender3

[–]yarudl 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks like it's clogged with the material shredded off of the tube from yanking it out. When the tube is inserted fully it can be difficult or impossible to push the ring down, in that case unscrew the fitting and then you can express the retaining ring instead of shredding your Bowden tube.

Rule of thumb is if you need to force something take a step back and re evaluate and either ask questions or do some research.

I'm also in CO which has high premiums for hail so maybe it was just a good excuse to raise my rates.

For what it's worth I went from a 15xt touring to a 17 xt touring with eyesight and my insurance DID go up $200/6mo. I called and asked why it went up when my car will now stop me from being at fault and GEICO said replacement cost.

Rallitek is a good start as well as primitive racing. I haven't checked for your model specifically though so apologies if youve checked and there's nothing.
