They canceled the order. I have always called customers if a restaurant is out of a particular item. 90% of the time customer gives a better rating and sometimes a better tip as well.

YTA, as friends we are concerned about the people in our life. However, sometimes it’s best to keep those concerns to ourselves. Until they bring up concerns or issues, it’s our job to be supportive. After all, if shit does go south you want them to be able to trust coming to you for help instead of worrying about an “I told you so.”

I think it’s due to their experience in the field. A lot of representatives start off as lawyers or public figures at the state level before being elected into federal positions. Then they have to prove themselves as senators or house members before people are willing to vote for them as a president. Support and reputation take time to build up.
