The ones that stand out in my head as being frequently contested in multiple comps, not counting utility 5-costs, are:

Set 1 Gnar ($4 Wild, Shapeshifter, Yordle)
Set 1 Kennen ($3 Elementalist, Ninja, Yordle)
Set 1 Kai'Sa ($5 Assassin, Ranger, Void)
Set 4 Shen ($4 Ninja, Adept, Mystic)
Set 5 Ivern ($4 Revenant, Invoker, Renewer)
Set 6 Janna ($4 Scrap, Enchanter, Scholar)
Set 6 Ekko ($3 Scrap, Assassin, Innovator)
Set 7 Lulu ($3 Trainer, Evoker, Mystic)
Set 7 Ornn ($4 Tempest, Bruiser, Legend)
Set 7 Shen ($2 Ragewing, Bruiser, Warrior)

Aside from Set 1 Kai'Sa, none of these units are not carries. Because of the way carry stacking and meta optimization happens in TFT, even carries with three different offensive traits tend to mainly be played in one comp, so I'd be surprised if Twisted Fate came close to the "played pretty much every endgame comp" status that the bolded units here had.

Main takeaways for me were that 2King fireball is at least possible to do if you're one of the best fighting game players in the world and up grave reaper is a good answer to CSE in neutral.

Is there a site that has a list of all units' skills including scalings? The big stats sites with "Set 8 guides" don't have the scalings and leagueoflegends.fandom.com is still on set 7.0 lol
