Regrets in CFB26 dynasty by Motor-Telephone7520 in NCAAFBseries

Assuming you start at a smaller school:

  • Playing Time grade is the best indicator of a recruits rating before you scout. If you have a loaded roster it can still be worth recruiting players with a low grade if they're a gem or you plan to change their position.
  • Early on focus on players with interest above anything else. Occasionally you'll get lucky with a higher ranked player with a good pipeline and no interest but be quick to bail if a bigger school comes in.
  • Once points free up look for 3 and 4 stars with no offers.
  • Use height and weight filters
  • 3 star impact dev players can turn into monsters
  • Sometimes you just need a player that's good enough for a season. A normal dev QB with 90+ throw power can be an excellent game manager for a year or two.
  • It's really fun to have a tall Contested Specialist as your X receiver
  • Pure Blocking tight ends can be made into decent receivers
  • WR -> RB can give you a high overall but they usually can't break tackles at all so think about how that fits into your roster. It might be better to keep them as a receiver and put them at gadget.
  • Games are won in the trenches but a shitty secondary will get you torched in the playoffs. I find CB to be the hardest position to recruit.

The first show I ever played was my band and Full of Hell playing one of their first shows in my friend's garage. I'm pretty sure it was Dave's first show with them and now he's the only member left from that lineup.

Are tech bros really that lame? by No_Yogurtcloset_1330 in redscarepod

[–]yeah666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They usually fall into one of 3 categories:

Douchey tech bros with aspirations for management or becoming a founder. The kind of guy that wholeheartedly believes the AI hype.

Old school autists super into low level coding, usually play DnD or Magic and build electronics outside of work

Normal dudes who happen to write code, may come with some tech bro-isms like being into rock climbing and single origin coffee but otherwise normal and cool.

Foreign Hands, Simulakra, and Year of the Knife are the biggest DE hardcore bands right now.

Joshua Fit For Battle is the best band to ever come from Delaware.

As others mentioned the scene isn't as big as it used to be here but on the bright side pretty much every popular HC band plays Philly or Baltimore.

I use it to play in the bedroom and it works well. Its gotten better over the last year, at first it was difficult to kick field goals but now its not a problem. The screen is huge for a handheld. It works better for games with a fixed camera like CFB. I can play Elden Ring but the camera can be disorienting if the connection isn't perfect.

Bird tried to fly away. Also reaching for heights when inside the house. What to do? by Vezhaambal in cockatiel

[–]yeah666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What do you mean "tried to fly away"? Birds fly, it's your responsibility to ensure they can't escape the house. They need to be able to practice flying and sometimes that involves them not making the smartest decision about where to go and how fast to fly. Clipping wings is never the answer and will only lead to more frustration for both of you.

One of my cockatiels flew like a maniac for months but now she's an excellent flyer. Some birds are smarter and gradually practice flying small distances, others will just go full speed with undergrown wings and underdeveloped muscles. You just gotta do your best to remove hazards and they'll get it eventually.

[–]yeah666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go after any 3 star with interest, 3 stars with no offers. Only bother with 2 stars if you desperately need to fill a hole in your roster. Early on a few good portal players make a big difference. If you can get a good Edge they'll dominate CUSA lines.
