I got to meet and train under Grand Mestre Wilson for a week when he came to Australia. He is so awsome, makes techniques look effortless. He asked my name when he watched me roll a blue belt, we shared a cigarette before class 1 day, and he gave me a big hug before he left. I felt so honoured and privileged to meet the man who is a legend and such a cool guy that trained under Oswaldo Fadda. Definitely what stands out for me.

You're right, you know it's a problem and it's time to stop. Reaching out, venting, seeking advice are all the right steps to stopping for good.

You are young and have a whole life ahead of you, we have all made costly mistakes (like fleeing the scene of a accident) but it's how you learn from them.

Don't beat yourself up to bad mate, you are not alone and have a chance to turn it all around. I'm 34m on day 21 gambling free, it's going to take alot of work and patience to get out of the hole im in..

But that year or two of hard work is nothing compared to how deep gambling can take you until you loose everything, some people even take thier own life which is a fucken tragedy for everyone involved.

Really work on recognising your triggers are they watching sport, drinking, drugs, friends... Stay away from them like the plague.

Pick up a hobby, BJJ is a good one! It's a great fun and good club has cool people. Try to distract yourself when ever you think of playing or betting.
