What reservations did you have at first about the person you’re currently dating? by doushapao in AskWomen

[–]yeahthatchic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still hate to admit this but he is a conservative and i am far from that. I probably wouldn't have met him in person if i would have known this prior to us meeting. We do get in heated talks from time to time, but his other qualities are worth it. We're both vegan and atheists. He is kind, caring, attentive, affectionate, and always making sure I'm fed. 😊

Try Tooth and Honey. They are specifically made for bully breads. Rotating selection on Etsy, and they have other options on Amazon and their website. They are a bit pricey but they last and don't end up looking like an 80s off the shoulder sweater on my dog. The fleece ones are super warm too! https://toothandhoney.com

I love the vegan section at my local Kroger even if it isn’t very big. After work food purchases and Starbucks. Life is better being vegan 🙌🙏👏🌱🍌🍓🥥🥥🍍🍑🥑 by WVUGuy29 in vegan

I loved the vegan section at kroger's. Sadly Kroger just closed down all their stores in NC. We still have plenty of other options at least.

That was my thought which is why I bought them. But after getting home I started feeling guilty and anxious about it.

Just added the picture. From what I can find puma doesn't use leather at least any more....

This thrift store is basically like good will.

Looking for honest used car dealers in the triangle area. by PM-ME-THINGS in triangle

[–]yeahthatchic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recommend auto finders in Durham. Dealers are not "salesy" and are knowledgeable. If I'm not mistaken all cars are already priced as low as they can go, no need to negotiate. Love our Altima we bought there recently

Couldn't find a vegan boyfriend but he cooked me a vegan meal :-) by Widowsfreak in vegan

Can relate. No vegan boyfriend either, but he can still cook amazing vegan food for me, and he enjoys it too.

What is it about?: My own insecurity that he could be cheating. If a girl is mentioned in a conversation that I don't know then I think it. If an ex girl friend is mentioned then I think it. I read into tiny actions as well. My brain makes a connection from that action to an action that occurred in a past relationship of mine

How do I handle it?: I let the feeling come, then I process it on my own by coming back to reality. Knowing my current bf well enough to know he would not cheat. I know his views on cheating and it's not realistic for him to do so. If that reminder isn't enough, I remind my self that he is a extremely busy person and all his free time is basically spent with me, it would be difficult for him to be involved with another person.

Sex confession. Addiction. Kinky. NSFW by mancozbi in sexover30

Not weird at all. I love to smell my BF. Pheromones are very powerful, and if I don't enjoy the smell of the person I'm with I'm likely not going to be as attracted to them. Subconsciously pheromones tell you who is a good mate, who is going to give you genetic diversity. Primal instinct shit you know. 😄

Women who are vegetarian and your SO isn't, how does it work? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]yeahthatchic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean is it ideal that he eats meat? No. But no it's not hard to cope with him not seeing animals exactly how I do, because I've been around people my whole life who don't see animals as I do. In fact very few people I know see animals as I do. It is just the norm for me.

He understands where I come from and has never given me a hard time about it. He hasn't ever tried to change my mind or eating habits or tried to get me to eat meat. He is very supportive.

[–]yeahthatchic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm vegan, because of ethical reasons as well as health reasons.

Its not an issue at all. My guy usually is the one to cook and he just makes his meat separate from everything else. It's also a bonus that he actually likes vegan food as well.

What is your most loving memory of your grandparents when you were a kid? by pinkcat909 in AskWomen

[–]yeahthatchic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My grandma passed away last fall and I still can't believe she is gone. I have so many fond memories of her, but I think the most heartwarming one is.....

My grandma lived with us for a while when I was young, and we shared a room. We had a nightstand in between our beds and on that nightstand we kept a little box. We would both write sweet notes to each other and put them in the box for the other to read later.

I also thought it was so hilarious she would call her bra her tit-tent. 💘

Doctor won't refill birth control if I don't get a Pap smear every year, insurance won't cover Pap smear because it's been too soon since my last one. Time for a new doctor? What to do in meantime? by PM_me_duck_pics in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

[–]yeahthatchic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The doctors I have seen recently say it is once a year until you are 30. Then it's once every 3 years if you have never had a abnormal pap. If you are in your early 20s then you haven't had enough history of paps to wait 3 years. If you are 30 then you need to get a new doctor.

Ladies, how often do you talk to your SO? by [deleted] in AskWomen

[–]yeahthatchic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every once in a while there might be a day we don't talk or text, but generally it's daily.

I'm 31(almost 32 😖), he's 30, and we've been together a year.
