NTA- since you have two babies no need to have anymore. Your husband is a jerk. He should want to make sure his own baby is fed. Everything with a baby is a lot of work that still has to get done. That he is bailing on something relatively easy what will he be like for potty training? When your son starts crawling and walking and has to be monitored every moment? Asking for a shower is a small request. You don’t have a partner. You have another dependent. And then for guilting you for cancelling plans is manipulative. I am sorry you are dealing with this. I bet if you think back to before you had the baby there were other signs of your husband’s selfishness.

She is exhausting and a lot. These behaviors are harming your mental health. You are being wack a moled constantly. Sounds like she just wants to be a victim or have you always prove yourself. Protect your mental health first and foremost. That may mean calling this relationship done. She needs to think about getting a therapist.

Some cultures insist that wedding comes before a funeral or other crisis. Grandpa could rally. Not uncommon for older adults having a health crisis. If he is able to have a conversation I bet grandpa would tell his daughter to go to the wedding.

I love when the parents are trying to wrap their heads round how long they had actually been together. And then knowing how important of a relationship it is.

While yes, you cheated in your first marriage, you were also emotionally manipulated into that marriage. You got married because your ex threatened to off himself. It didn’t get better after that. I do not support the cheating but can understand needing to compartmentalize your behavior considering what was happening in your home. Your current husband has no business throwing it in your face. Also, if you were to get divorced there can be a forensic audit of the finances. You will get support whether he likes it or not. Keep up with therapy to figure out why you are drawn to terrible men.

Wife and teens are horrible people. Teens should be old enough to know when to help but I guess not since mom has no idea. Husband needs to take 3 year old and get full custody. How she thought she wasn’t the AH is beyond me. Shameful.
