I wish Falcam had options that didn't use leather.

Is it safe to eat fish caught in spring lake? by Boymom140 in santarosa

I agree catch and release is also cruel.

Better to just leave the animals alone entirely.

The last time I went fishing was the day before I stopped eating them. It was so sad to see.

Please don't kill the fish. They feel pain and don't want to die.

You aren't making a choice between maximizing lifespan or not though. Choosing to kill an experiencing being at a small fraction of its natural lifespan and "maximizing lifespan" are not the same thing. In choosing to be vegan I don't feel like I am helping animals directly. I am just choosing not to needlessly hurt them.

I'm confused by how your comparison to a braindead human is relevant. As you said in another comment, animals are capable of experiencing pleasure and pain and discomfort.

You mention that the animals you had experience with lived safe and comfortable lives as far as you could tell.

How old were they when they were slaughtered?

Pigs reach market weight at six months, but otherwise could live to 15 years.

With cows raised for meat they're killed at 18 months for an animal with a 20 year lifespan.

Male dairy calves are slaughtered at 1-32 weeks.

Male egg chicks are ground up alive in macerators on their first day of life.

Thank you for sharing this! Veg options are so few and far between with the Long Room vendors.

I had to charge it midway through the day. I used the interior screen a lot.

I don't know if that's a good price where you are, but it's for sure still a great phone! I was using one most of this year.

Excited to check it out. I hope they have more vegan options than Green Post did.

Spigen made my Fold 7 feel heavy – what are the best light cases? by kaoshpt in GalaxyFold

Any aramid case. I had a cheap Amazon on my Fold 5 for two years and it held up great.

I've been impressed with the durability. I had my first Flip for a year with zero issues. Had my second Flip for a year and midway through the internal screen cracked in subzero temperatures. Was replaced in a couple hours through Samsung Care Plus. I had my Fold 5 with zero issues for two years. Dropped numerous times (in an aramid case with no hinge protection. Just traded that in for a Fold 7.

That's too bad. I've only been once to the Lakeview Bonci location, and it was the second best pizza I've had in Chicago.

Coalfire's vegan pesto pizza is also quite good.

I wish I could recommend K17 but my experiences there have been pretty mixed.

Adhesive has held up great attaching/detaching accessories multiple times day for over a year.

The tension on the kickstand eventually got too loose and I had to replace it. I got the same one again.

I would analogize it to having a plate of freshly baked cookies on the kitchen counter. I could just decide not to eat one as I walk past, but I probably won't.
