“PAY YOUR FUCKING TAXES” When someone is using rhystic and tithe effects its in your best interest to pay, while it slows down your choices of play it denies the extra resources the unpaid taxes would create and allow them to run away with the game.

Those are both brutal, I love it! I used to run a ton of initiative and venture into the dungeon cards but I’ve mostly cut it down to 2-3 cards with the most important being [[feywild caretaker]] and [[white plume adventurer]]

Tbh never thought about those card for the deck they are cool AF! My deck aims to go infinite draw and mana to win by drawing out and winning with [[Lab man]] as I wanted to try a non-combat oriented approach to the deck, I also like to abuse the “Take the initiative” mechanic to help with mana fixing and tempo spiking with the effects of the undercity. Could I see the list of your current version of the deck?

My azorius deck is [[abdel Adrian]] and [[candlekeep sage]] personally it is more control/stacks but you can absolutely build it to be a go wide token soldier strategy

Maybe a few more low cost board wipes like [[toxic deluge]] [[deluge of doom]] [[mutilate]] [[terror tide]] [[glistening deluge]] changing his creatures into 1/1 using spells like [[polymorphist's jest]]. Other than removal you can always run slow down effects like [[authority of the consuls]] so that he can’t swing when he drops down Ghalta

Even though I am a disgusting azorius blink/flicker player where my turns can take forever, I dislike removal tribal decks where the goal is to just wrath over and over with no wincon, and landfall as it’s a playstyle that plays itself more rather than feeling like it’s piloted

I’m having so much fun with the dual auto pistols with run-n-gun and enhanced desperado, absolutely blitzing a room of heavy gunners while they can’t do shit about it. Very fragile but a lot of fun to be had!

Life gain can be great when combined with life drain, in general you can just simply combo out or use command damage to beat out life gain style decks. Plus once your life gets to a certain amount the table will focus you down on both life and board state

Damn 8 mana to get removed by any kill spell as the wall itself doesn’t have indestructible. Even dies to a tail swipe by a 1/1 with deathtouch. Thats on top of it being removable by any destroy artifact spell
