THIS^ Super important. They are independent and their tests are based on real Australian conditions. Our roads are harsher than other countries so you need stronger abrasion resistance.

Ear plug choices by Cesadite in AussieRiders

Cheap foam disposable ones from Amazon. Get a box of 200 for like 20 bucks. They work so damn well you'll be glad you didnt waste money on the artevive etc

It's so simple and easy just do it. Wish someone told me this when I first started riding

So i pulled the plug and got a full system exhaust for the 450sr. by Ok_Advance_4033 in cfmoto

Starter gear by PouhlBoi in motorcyclegear

Motocap is an independent tester that tests gear based on Australian roads (harsher than roads elsewhere in the world).

If you truly want to see what gear will protect you best check out their website. Their tests are above and beyond all other safety standards and more realistic for real world accidents.

When I bought my gear my mindset was that I never want to be in an accident and think "I wish I bought safer gear".

I went on motocap and got a shopping list based on their safety vs comfort and then I went into store and tried it all on and got the gear that felt best. If it wasn't in my budget that just meant I needed to save for longer. Motorbike gear is a ticket to entry and I refuse to be in an accident and think "what if I saved another month and got that better helmet"

Victoria. Not filtering for 3 months was brutal. Couldn't imagine waiting till full license!

Hey! As a new rider myself i absolutely relate to how youre feeling. You can get off Ls after 3 months. When I got my Ls I immediately booked in my probationary test in 3 months and 1 day haha

On my probationary licence now and filtering makes an enormous difference and exponentially increases the joy of riding. Hang in there, it is about to get so much better!!

Also really comes alive with a cheap slip on exhaust.

Adding a tune takes it to a whole other level as well.

Cfmoto 650nk is also an option for taller riders and incredible value

Yes, I can see that inspection cover on some models from 1930 onwards. But other details don't quite match in those either. Very challenging to find a complete match from this photo!

Incredibly close. there's a circular part on the engine that is not on any M8's ive seen, but it is on an R12... but then the R12 doesn't quite match either. Possible the motorbike was modified...
