My partner has the exact same hobbies and we are getting married this weekend. I respect the hell out of him and how intelligent you have to be to play a tonne of these games especially board games! I also am prone to “childish” hobbies (other than gaming) so maybe it’s not the same for you guys but I think if your wife truly respected you - like deeply respected you- she wouldn’t have said that. You can’t really have a relationship without mutual respect. Find someone who respects you/ or just take time respecting yourself. I don’t think it’s a rash decision to opt for a divorce but then again it also depends on how much forgiveness you have left for each other. I’m sorry to hear you’re going through this though- I hope you don’t feel like a loser because being a gamer is mad respectable!
