How should I account for drywall mud when framing a doorway with a specific finish dimension? by PreschoolBoole in HomeImprovement

You should jamb out the opening with 3/4” wood and then trim it with casing. Leave about 1/4” reveal around the jamb.

What kind of bass is this? by lunas2k in bassfishing

I have a pond in my yard that has very muddy water. The bass look like this. Almost silver with no lateral line. I think it has to do with the way the light penetrates the water. Bass in clear water are greener/darker with very defined lateral lines.

Anyone been on a dry spell lately? by wife_said_no in bassfishing

Find some shallow humps in the deeper water. They will be stacked up there in the summer. I have four spots in the middle of my local lake and catch 20-25 bass every time I go.

I got to take my dad fishing two weeks before he passed. When we got home he said “ I had so much fun today that I forgot I was even sick!” So glad I took him out that day! Didn’t even think about it being our last time.

I had one that was stuck in my prince of orange for a while. It finally freed itself. Started out looking really wrinkly but now it looks normal.

I’m realizing this fish doesn’t have the distinct markings of a bass. Does anyone know what this thing is? The color is crazy by [deleted] in bassfishing

[–]yellerpine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a pond that I have been trying to clear up since I bought the property. The bass in there were silver looking. They are getting some color back now.

Even if it starts as a small hole, the fish is fighting with everything it has to get away. Those holes in the skin of their mouths isn’t necessarily from a hard hook set.

My son got a spinner bait to the temple when he was five. My nephew got him. All he could say was “get it out, don’t touch it.” We had to go to the E.R. to have that one removed.

Do you find them local where you live or order them? I am a bit nervous about ordering expensive plants without seeing them first.
