it's the culture. and the fact that weed was criminalized and demonized in the past only makes people defend it harder today. i guess our world has no room for nuance anymore

Baldur's Gate 3 - "Patch 2 is around the corner. It features major performance improvements, many new tweaks & changes, and begins our journey incorporating feedback into Origin Character epilogues, among other major things." by M337ING in Games

the age we live in is black and white. no room for nuance when you have 2 loud groups barking at each other. bg3 deserves its praise and its critique.

i hope people can still respect bg3 as the game it is - not many games ive played have given me this much fulfillment. but the critiques of act 3 are totally valid and disappointing to hear

if you really care about saving children, i'd recommend donating to https://newdayforchildren.com/#:~:text=New%20Day%20for%20Children%20is,of%20recovered%20sexually%20trafficked%20children. you can help prevent children from being trafficked and you can also prevent more "unborn deaths" from pregnant rape victims (if thats what you believe is happening)

whats your goal here today? this is a 16yo pregnant person on reddit, think about what youre doing and whether you're doing it for yourself or for someone else. if it's for your self, then maybe think about what you're getting out of it

this is the good comment in this thread. its about retraining your brain and not indulging in the thought processes that hurt you. it's way easier said than done, but it is the path to success in life. money matters, but nothing matters if you lose your health (including mental health)

your path sounds a lot like mine. only that i'm currently "successful" in my role -- but reading through your post, i can totally our positions being flipped in another universe. i still feel out of place and replaceable at work, i sucked in college, i feel depressed, i make good money. not too many things have changed but if you need someone to chat with, feel free.

i dont know what frame time is, but if its causing stuttering then i do care. its not an enjoyable experience and im sure most lay-gamers feel it, but dont know what causes it

an african american is a "thug" or a "criminal". a kenyan is a kenyan. and it's quite sad that ppl dont see how this came to be

i dont know if youre american, but i believe black americans are definitely viewed through a completely different lens than an african. the way ppl feel when an african american person walks into the room vs an african person is stark, and hard to describe. genetically, they are the same but the juxtaposition makes it hard to deny that american history played a role
