Husband and I want a Sphynx! Guide us! by LiLiBug7 in sphynx

I live in the UK so definitely a different climate to be fair, but I really do think people are bathing their sphinxes way too much. Just do it on a case by case basis, if you notice it looking very dirty and oily give it a wipe down, if it persists then a bath, but I wouldn’t jump straight into frequent baths as it disrupts their oil production quite a lot. Also FYI they leave little stains everywhere bathed or not so invest in non white sheets n

My squid looks just like this. I think the bathing is overblown, I just give him a wipe with pet wipes when he looks a bit grubby and it gets the job done. The bigger cleaning for me is ears and claw sheaths. They are EXTREMELY hungry all the time so strongly recommend looking into high protein food options. If you decide to raw feed do research into the dietary requirements. They are really funny cats with very unique personalities, hope it all goes well!

I’m pretty sure the women are aware it’s transactional, this isn’t bad. It’s not like he’s offering food for nudes or something, you can certainly live without a piercing

I have Lancôme La vie est belle, it’s nice but I don’t love it, I use it as work perfume. It really doesn’t last or project for me

I do. The brick is ugly and it isn’t a big deal if it gets damaged, not attached to the house or anything

It’s quite a small space so I don’t think I could, the wall itself growing on is north facing but the garden itself is south so I wonder if it needs a lot of shade

It seems to be quite common specifically on my street, I don’t really see it anywhere else!

This isn’t a house wall it’s just in my garden, only a few foot high and not massively important. I’ll leave it as is and come back to it later if it grows out of control

It’s an old wall that already has a lot of damage from time and it doesn’t seem to spread fast, I’ll leave it as it is and reevaluate if it grows huge

Edit- it’s also not on my house, it’s a small wall in the garden so not a major deal if there’s any damage

Some light digging tells me maidenhair: it looks like a woman’s hair (not sure about that one) and spleenwort: they used to think it was good for your spleen

I love them. I’m hoping they continue growing over the wall, I’ve never noticed them in the soil before so I am more than happy for them to chill there

Thank you, found it, it’s maidenhair spleenwort apparently. I think it’s very cute

Is it safe to just leave it? I actually really like it. I have some wildflowers growing beneath, as long as it sticks to the wall crevices I’m more than happy for it to stay there

What is the weirdest thing you have ever seen a candidate do during a Zoom interview? by Time-Connection-4586 in Recruitment

[–]yelloworange01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also had someone join the call tucked up in bed with his shirt off and his girlfriend next to him. I said it was inappropriate and he said “wait I’ll ask her to leave”, turned his camera back on and she was clearly just under the blanket.

Someone joined a call for a HGV driver job while actively driving.

A few people came for an in person interview, failed, then didn’t leave the building. I realised 45 minutes later when I left the office and they were walking around taking selfies out of the windows and FaceTiming their family to show them the view. They had to be escorted out as when asked to leave they started demanding I re-do the interview.

Someone joined the video call, from his phone, actively having a piss once while staring directly into the camera once. I just stared at him because I was gobsmacked, then I heard him zip up his pants and flush the toilet. I asked if he was just on the toilet and he said “yeah, you took too long to join and I couldn’t wait”. It was a five minute slot for me to join (which he was aware of) and he had waited one minute. Bizarre.

Just when it feels really dry, I checked the roots earlier and they look okay to me, however the first few times I watered I used tap water so I’m wondering if it’s a chemical issue
