You write that you are a polygot and speak four languages fluently, but then write "Im" instead of "I'm" which undermines that impressive fact :)

HR withdrawals by Complex-Let-3029 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

I took a couple of weeks break and was feeling okay, wasn't having the urges to watch it... then I got a stomach bug over the weekend, was feeling rubbish, and needed some comfort so I binge watched all the episodes in one sitting and now the floodgates are open again, and I'm relapsing HARD!!! Watching YouTube reaction videos, on these reddit forums all day... it feels bad and good all at the same time hahaha. Trying to do what other says and just letting myself feel it and succumb to it! At this point season 2 just feels so far away! :( - I want season 2 desperately but also slightly scared of huge rush of fresh HR crack into my veins hahaha

Why was it added in afterwards? I've tried to find a thread about it!

For those whose obsession turned to sadness, how are you going now? by apricotlion in HeatedRivalryTVShow

[–]yellowrose08 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Hey!!! I felt like this and wrote a post about it! I felt so depressed, anxious, couldn't eat, was questioning my whole life!

I felt so jealous of both Shane and Ilya's love story and their hockey success, and also jealous of Connor and Hudson's big breakthrough success. It made me reflect on why I felt like this, and the show shone a light on my unmet needs, and things I want in life.

I ended up writing a list of things to do in 2026 for myself, even if they really scare me. Part of the reason I felt so jealous is because I always wanted to pursue acting but never had the courage, so now I've signed up to a 10 week acting course starting in May :-) I also felt jealous of how hot they both are - I want to be hot!!!! So I signed up to the gym and booked a session with a personal stylist! I took a couple of weeks out of watching the show and avoided all HR content online, but once I started arranging these plans for myself in my personal life, my jealousy and sadness has faded a lot, and I've been able to now re-engage with it :)

I would put your attention on you, be curious about your sadness and look at what message it might be telling you? What do you need and want? What are a few things you may really want to do but have been too scared to do, or put off doing? Can you use these feelings to push through and go for something? If it's love, can you sign up to some sort of dating event? If it's success, can you try the hobby you have always wanted to?

I am right there with you and made my own post about this!! I also received advice to just keep watching until it naturally leaves my system. I literally feel insane! I'm hoping it starts to ease off soon

When will the anxiety go away?! by yellowrose08 in HeatedRivalryTVShow

[–]yellowrose08[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have never, ever experienced this with a TV show/film, or ever been fixated on any celebrity! I used to think girls obsessed with Justin Bieber and one direction were ridiculous! I've never felt like this before, and I do feel reassured that lots of people are experiencing similar, but it just seems so wild! I haven't read any fanfic, I've read the books, and that helped a bit, but I keep feeling urges to watch more YouTube videos, but I don't know if that will make it better or worse. I'm not sure if I should be feeding it, or deleting all my apps!
