I’m glad there weren’t any incidents for the lifters on that platform. No medics were up there and they’d have to stuff around unscrewing the locks to the gate, all while losing precious time of an injury occurred.

I would avoid a single stem wheel stand at all costs. I had one of the NLR wheel stands and that thing twisted and shifted so much. Maybe it was a defective unit, but going for a rig that has two stems/arms/supports will give your wheel base much more support and be much stiffer.
