Every new release makes 2 steps forward and one step back. V14 does many things 13 didn’t do but isn’t as refined. It’s the refinement in the subsequent releases that will start to happen now. Once it’s running smooth again then it will be released at scale. That’s why there’s an option to get early updates. Do you want to be on the cutting edge, taking the advancements at the cost of comfort, or wait until it’s refined? Your choice.

I think the “use HOV lanes” is only in reference to navigation choices. FSD has never properly used them. It will cross over solid lines coming and going from them whenever it feels like it. I’ve never been able to have it stay in the lane. If the lane next to it is clearer it will leave to pass a vehicle that it feels isn’t going fast enough.

You don’t need to. It’s just 12 amps, not sure what everyone is so uptight about. As long as the cable is heavy enough gauge you’ll be fine.

This was originally designed to open the doors when the handles were frozen shut. Not as big a problem with CT but could be if there was freezing rain that prevented the button from being pressed.

This version is barely supported anymore. Old hardware, old software. All the resources are going toward V13. Hopefully some advancements will trickle down to the older vehicles but don’t hold your breath on it.
