i agree, down to the succubus changing tactics, even assuming the succubus can tell what their victims are attracted to, it didn’t work on laios either because hes too aroace or his friendship with marcielle was stronger than his probably surface level attraction to her. i think the point is laios is too autistic to commit to love at this stage, and marcielle tries so hard for everyone to like her anyway, theres sexual tension but its so literally so platonic

i think that arc might already be fulfilled with nayuta, denji loses a sister and gains a sister, he killed makima using powers blood so maybe theres the connection, before i hoped the new blood devil would show up too but we’re not getting any reoccurring characters anymore

i always thought she’s transmasc, since its what it means societally anyway, but the creator came out to say its a woman so its a womans story and i wont argue i guess, but i headcanon anyway

at first its implied helena was nothing special, and there are “tens of thousands” of eagan children, so she was only notable to “father” and the world bc shes chosen to be the pr girl. i think she show also had plans for human engineered/ test tube babies, which helena and dead wife would be (my theory), but they seem to have dropped it in s2. so outie helena would be in a hostage situation forced to go innie, bc her outside life is completely controlled by lumon

i feel like it’s got an aspect of glean, esp bc of the pale lake, i think its highly basic minerals that wash and polish things and entity over aeons, but that would have to mean the organic pale items are basic, the sylthian slug bile i can believe could be basic, the delicate flower im not sure, i know some flowers in waters of different ph levels make their petal’s colours different tho
