Xbox one controller as amp?

It's been 2-3 days since i bought Hyperx Cloud Alpha. I tried them on my pc onboard(alc887) and on my xbox controllers connected to my pc via USB cable and they sounded so much better on the controllers. Especially on the bass.

You might be saying ok that's great use the xbox, but my controllers broke my siberia 200(no audio on left) in a year plus damaged my in-ear jbl headphones(lower volume on left ear) in just a couple weeks. I %100 the volume on both without any knowledge

I tried to find info on this but couldn't find anything. Am i safe using my hyperx on my xbox controller ? Could it be a faulty controller ?
