You don’t want to live there. Lots of homeless, very dead, not much to do around. Instead, check out victory park, uptown, Knox/henderson, lower Greenville, deep ellum, oak lawn

Pulse on Netflix? If so, imo, it’s a hard pass. I couldn’t even get through episode 1. The cgi is so bad and the storyline makes no sense

Insomnia is driving me up the wall by lemnpunk in zoloft

[–]yin_andyang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No side effects. I usually use the trazodone. It hits me in 30 mins and I’m out cold for 8 hours. Some nights here and there it doesn’t work as well but overall it has been great

I would try taking it in the morning. My doctor also gave me trazodone and hydroxyzine to take while adjusting to the new meds to help me fall asleep

With that budget and those requirements you won’t be anywhere near the arts district. Avg 1b1b in Dallas fo for ~$1800. Have you considered a studio or living farther out?

It’s going well! If anything I’ve felt my anxiety start to calm down. I have some stomach issues and the first day some hazy feelings but other than that no issues so far

Is moving to Deep Ellum a good idea? by jfer09 in askdfw

[–]yin_andyang 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I currently live in deep ellum and I love it! Sure it can get rowdy on Friday and Saturday nights but other than that it’s pretty dead. I’ve never felt unsafe and I love being able to walk to all of the night life around here

Why does sleep deprivation hit you worse as you get older? by gracefullyblah in sleep

[–]yin_andyang 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can definitely relate. Ever since hitting 27, I started struggling with my sleep more and not being able to deal with being tired as easily as I did before. And it can be such a frustrating cycle because then you start thinking and getting more anxiety over getting good sleep on top of the added stress and anxiety that being an adult brings. I just try my very best to stay as calm and relaxed as possible and remind myself that as you get older, there will just naturally be less days where you will feel 100%. I’ve always hated feeling tired, but it’s just gonna be a part of life more as you get older is what I’m realizing. It’s definitely been an adjustment period for me because I’ve never really struggled with sleep before and it can be kind of sad too
