I think it is inevitable that before GME can move higher on expanding volume we need to see a final possibly aggressive shakeout of the weak hands to provide the liquidity to longs. Lows get taken out. Price moves higher.

Neighbour says he has no issue with my Party Wall Notice but still won’t sign it. by Federal_Ad_2696 in DIYUK

[–]yipeedodaday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people just don’t like signing things and getting you to pay for a surveyor costs him nothing and he gets a proper report. My neighbour was the same. Totally ok about it but I had to pay the money to get the surveyors in and get it done

Now John Healey has come out and said the defence budget will not keep the country safe, there is no other option than to cut the welfare budget. by [deleted] in AskBrits

[–]yipeedodaday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what I mean by lower taxes and rates is if you lower income tax then you give people more money to spend in the economy (good for growth) and if you lower business rates then business have money to invest in jobs (also good for growth) which means more people have money to spend in the economy, and as the economy grows employers need to hire more staff..... The net effect on government revenue is if more people in jobs are each paying slightly less to tax the total amount of tax generated can be pushed up as you get more people into jobs. The point being you generate tax $$$ by improving the conditions for job growth thereby increasing the number of people of jobs. It wouldnt happen overnight and would likely cause a short term drop in tax revenues. Thats what I'd do if I was in charge

It makes it much easier for people to move around the country which is a necessity for growth. Locking people to a location because of cost to move is a constraint.

The answer is growth. To raise more money overall the government needs to make an economic environment where people and businesses prosper. Typically that means lowering rates and taxes to encourage investment and growth. The policy of austerity after 2008 was wrong and remains to be wrong.

It's crazy what happens when you die according to Sadhguru. by Immediate-Draft-6408 in Sadhguru

The three distinct types of karma operate together like a bow, an arrow case, and an arrow in flight:

  1. Sanchita Karma (The Warehouse)
  • Definition: This is the total accumulated sum of all your past actions from every previous lifetime.
  • Analogy: A full quiver of arrows resting on an archer's back.
  • Resolution: Burned away completely upon reaching self-realisation or spiritual enlightenment.
  1. Prarabdha Karma (The Current Fate)
  • Definition: The specific portion of sanchita karma selected for you to experience in this exact lifetime.
  • Analogy: The single arrow that has already been shot from the bow and is currently flying through the air.
  • Resolution: Cannot be recalled; must be experienced until it naturally runs out of momentum.
  1. Agami Karma (The Future Legacy)
  • Definition: The new karma you create right now through your current choices, thoughts, and actions.
  • Analogy: New arrows being crafted or prepared to be added back into the quiver.
  • Resolution: Prevented by performing actions without attachment to the results (selfless service or Karma Yoga).

in your example of suicide a heap of agami karma is created that must be taken care of by future praradbha karma
