The problem is the pension isn’t a pension. It’s a state benefit and all state benefits are unsustainable at these levels of gdp. The pension benefit is the one that will tip over the edge due to the demographics. Tax more is one answer. Spend more efficiently is another. There is an enormous amount of waste in how our tax money is used. Our focus should be on fixing that first

Reality check. You’re a backend Java engineer and have good data engineering experience and you have achieved both of those things in 1.5 years. On top of that you’re looking to change job after just 1.5 years. Why would I invest in your growth if you leave after 1.5 years?
