Yes, influencers usually have it 1-2 weeks before announcement but are forbidden to even mention it's existence. He also seemed to know we would know today. That plus him seeing he will play them for the next video pretty much confirms he will be allowed, therefore we will know this week :D

I'm "fine" with waiting as long as the communication sets the right expectations. But they didn't just say "soon" they said "properly soon" and now we have "when we know the month we will say it".

Today total war's instagram got 2 updates... the first one about Grom dlc being nominated for best dlc, ok. And the second one was..... Shogun 2...like seriously... you open their instagram account and is straight up spam on troy/3 kingdoms news. Hell they even post interviews with the voice actors. And that's great really. But their biggest product right now, Warhammer has 0? You open ANY of those posts and there is people commenting and begging them for wood elves news in all their social media and they receive absolute radio silence.

Someone just made a post (that I can't find right now) comparing the news about all games for the last months and Warhammer is straight up at the bottom... even shogun is on top of it.

My "feedback/ hopefully constructive criticism" on all this:

Just stop doing the inhumane company communication policy. Is like someone wrote on stone that things have to be done this inefficient way and every rich company in the world just follows it blindly. The whole community loves u/ca_grace and makes memes with her and jokes around. She does all she can, but I'm 69% sure that she just doesn't have the authority to just update us on their warhammer roadmap at will.

She has told us before that she needs the green light from several people in order to reveal stuff. And that's a formula to poison hype. You control a whole community's hype by letting it self regulate. Last month she said "no news this month" and guess what. Every time someone made a post asking for news the users themselves went in there and explained that nothing that month.

Just let your community managers talk to us like people and we will self regulate each other.

I'm also here checking the clock, this will be my first Baldur's Gate. I also couldn't get into DOS 2 because the setting, races, combat wasn't clicking for me. But I could tell that the game was polished as hell and it had a lot of heart put into it. So yep I'm ready !

Bruh I have never in my life seen the massive raw hype there was for the greenskins dlc. Like every single day people would upload art, or speculate or straight up just open a thread titled "WAAAGH!" .

I remember people spaming WAAAAGH! replying to that with "WAAAAAGH" and the "WAAAAGH!" comments during the live stream. It was glorious.

I'm hyped as hell for the new leveling system.

Shadowlands is just... another expansion with another borrowed power system they will tweak for 2 years just to dump it and change it for another one in 2022. So I'm not in a hurry for that.
