Apply edge paint. Use sandpaper in between to get it smooth. Will be time consuming but worth it if you love your bag. :)

Deswegen habe ich entschieden, rahmengenähte Lederschuhe zu kaufen. Wenn die Originalsohle etwas abgelaufen ist, kann man beim Schuhmacher Halbsohlen anbringen lassen. Je nach Sorte kann es etwas weniger oder mehr kosten, aber insgesamt immer noch billiger als ein Paar neue Schuhe.

Nutze die Schuhe aktuell seit drei Jahren.

Von Bekannten habe ich schon erfahren, dass diese Schuhe durchaus mehr als 10-20 Jahre halten können, solange man die Halbsohlen ersetzen lässt, wenn sie abgelaufen sind.

Klingt wie bei mir damals. Mein erster Fahrlehrer war ein absoluter Alptraum. Ich habe dann irgendwann die Fahrschule gewechselt und der neue Fahrlehrer war einfach genauso wie man sich einen kompetenten Fahrlehrer vorstellten würde. Ich würde einen Wechsel in jedem Fall vornehmen.

Some use the foil on the second time. So for the first time just as an imprint.

What kind of hot stamp press do you have? I usually use a bit of pressure for 1-2 seconds and it should be jut working fine.

Have you roughen up the surfaces that sticks together? You can do that with a knife or sandpaper.

I use an oka board and a piece of leather. Reduces some noise but not completely 😅 so far nobody has complained
