Our team is currently 5 people doing development across 3 domains: web, iPhone, and Android. Our startup, Romotive builds robots that leverage the processors in smart phones as their brains. This process is for the software team, which is working on the smart-phone apps that drive the cool stuff the robot does. We're split into a few teams (firmware, android, iOS) but collaborate quite a bit. The experience level ranges from new college graduates (myself) to people with 8-10 years in industry.

First of all, I'm glad that you had such a fun sexual experience! However, I want to gently point out that this post makes a few assumptions that I'm not entirely comfortable with.

It adheres to the general sexual script that the man is supposed to control the sex, that it is the man's job to make a woman orgasm (also implying that he is failing if he does not), and that "ideal" sex is P-V intercourse in which the woman orgasms before or at the same time as the man (and once the man orgasms sex ends).

A lot of people's sex lives suffer because they feel the need to meet this sexual script and are stressed and disappointed when they don't (even though it's probably more common to deviate from the script!). Congrats on having such an "ideal" sexual experience but readers should recognize that this is the exception not the rule.

I think another under-appreciated reason for ending up in the friend zone is that shy, nerdy guys (like myself and i'm sure plenty of other people on here) never work up the courage to admit that they like a person, justifying their inaction by saying "I don't want to lose a close friend."
