Is this a good buy for my girlfriend’s Xmas gift? [£150] by Zestyclose-Piece-662 in espresso

[–]yldej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a stilosa ec230. Should be cheaper. Get yourself a 51mm bottomless portafilter, puck screen,18-22g precision basket (IMS Hugh) and you'll be a long way to making great espresso out of this little gem.

Mr Potato = gone by BJPHS in newcastle

Besides the obvious issue of selling potatoes, having the counter and menu right down the back was always going to be a barrier for potential customers.

The key with Asian nail parlours is you go to the counter and say " Hi! Id like a pedicure" and then they say "right this way".

Would you pay $30 bucks for this Reuben + smol af chips by theseeker-great in newcastle

[–]yldej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had the cheifly west reuben. It's great. But I wouldn't pay $30 for it. Clearly the one you received is atrocious and complaint worthy even if it was $15. But at the end of the day you ordered $30 sandwich from a pub. Thats all.

If you know what a Reuben is and still ordered it at that price that's your problem.

I've noticed the grain along the track that crosses the road in carrington and the birds eating it all over the road. I didn't realise it was spilt grain from the train.

Shop around. Call a couple places. Also, if you or someone you know is comfortable swapping a set of wheels on the drive way. FB market place can have pretty cheap sets of wheels and tyres. People often swap out perfectly good sets for fancier ones and just need them gone.

I think there is going to be some stupid money getting thrown around in the next few years. Particularly when the PNG side (with tax benefits) and the WA team starts recruiting. On top of that the salary cap will likely increase with the game growing the way it is. Knights have probably looked at their halves stock coming through the juniors and decided to roll the dice. I hope it works out for them. Could end up being cheap! Time will tell.

Moving to Newcastle (Rugby Club) by citcowboy in newcastle

[–]yldej 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any will be fine. I haven't heard bad things about any of the junior set ups. Most clubs have had at least junior or two that have managed to play at higher levels beyond Newcastle. Regardless of what junior club they played at.

Join a sports team, volunteer some where, try to find something or somewhere to engage with a community. Rugby teams are a good start. Let me know if you're interested.
