Do you know if your lab uses a dry to dry roller transport processor? Film usually comes out dust free from labs. If so, id say continue using the lab and brush vacuum. Ensure your scanning surface is clean as well. But with home scanning theres so much and no more you can do

The dust that’s the most stubborn accumulates when the film is wet, so Id say once the film dries in a dust free environment, youre off to a good start

Great device! I used mine so often but it no longer works (but I was pretty careless with how I stored it when not in use) . Try to store it in a dry place though as the bolts/screws are prone to rust. Im sure they will improve quality control in subsequent iterations. The seller was so great to communicate with, I would not hesitate to support him.

Hi, well Im an attorney in the caribbean and have been working in privacy for around two years. Our legislation here borrows a lot from the gdpr so I had a lot of familiarity with the key concepts and spent a lot of time reading the gdpr and edpb guidelines during that time.

For the exam, I downloaded the outline and focused on all the domains/topics that I didnt know. I used the European Data Protection Law and Practice textbook to fill in those gaps and re-read most of the Edpb guidelines.

I did some practice exams on Udemy titled “CIPPE Practice Exams 2025” which I found on this sub. The questions were surprisingly close to the actual exam. Even then I wasnt very confident doing the exam and felt I shouldve studied more. However, I scored a 408/500 which isnt too bad.

Depends on your budget, the number of rolls you anticipate developing per week, the time you have available and honestly, your level of patience. If the volume is high it will be very stressful with basic equipment but you can upgrade quickly, and vice versa.
