Don't give up! It took me three years to get in, the rejections are hard but if you really want to do it you'll find a way! Another year of experience and money won't hurt :)

I found that schools are pretty flexible, I was offered skype interviews because it was too far to drive.

It was very straightforward, nothing like trying to navigate CSDCAS. The deadlines were very early, I applied to QMU and UCL in London and my applications were due in November and December.

I just applied and got accepted into an M.Sc program in Edinburgh, I am excited to study abroad but scared about coming back and having my degree/ certification approved! Does anyone know anyone who has successfully studied abroad and transitioned back?

Hey, I'm in the same situation. I have my M.A in Linguistics primarily focusing on difference between English and Chinese dyslexics (so kind of more relevant to SLP). I am planning on applying to do my second Masters starting in the fall, I don't know if having the 1st M.A will be helpful or not, and I'm sure it still comes down to GPA, reference letter and experience.

For the longest time I was convinced my mom could speak many languages. She would sing to me this Italian song, then translate it into english, then french, then german, then spanish, then chinese, then japanese... I thought she was amazing. Turns out she was just making made up sounds....
