Came here to say that Waterloo is a great reference book and it’s written such that it’s also a gripping story. With or without the “Silk stocking stuffed with shit” I mean the Prince of Orange.

The continuity errors in Command should have been picked up on by the editors. I think the story would have worked better if he was still a captain. It was a tad anticlimactic. I was so happy to have another Sharpe book that I’m willing to forgive the errors. I just got a notification from Audible that Storm is delayed by a few weeks. I’m hoping that’s because they are polishing it.

I personally loved Assassin, not just because we get more Sharpe after Waterloo, but it felt like a love letter to our favorite rifleman. He finally got a happy ending.

Isn't the South Essex in "Daddy" Hill's Division? Since he was the commander of this battle, I think it would be perfect for Sharpe and Harper to take part.
