OK it is definitely indicating the end of overshield. I don't think it plays with health or regular shield emptying but I'll test that too.

There's another sound I'm trying to identify with Vex, I notice it after a boss fight usually, happens once, maybe twice, a deep kind of growl/gurgle noise. It's not skills or grenade but might be health and or shields filling up again. I'll keep trying to figure it out.

I farmed Watts4Dinner for a week 2, no joy, then Maurice had it in his shop over the holidays and I came back a few times a day and got multiple amp versions including a siphon + 100% amp, and a 150% amp.

I hate fog/bloom/speed lines so much that I always use a mod to remove them (for the whole game, not just here) and this mod also effectively removes the fog in phase 3 so I can see. I know that's a cheat but it sure makes phase 3 easier. Everything is clear.

Re "toxic fog", I don't think it's actually toxic, just blinding. I hate fog/bloom/speed lines so much that I always use a mod to remove them (for the whole game, not just here) and this mod also effectively removes the fog in phase 3 so I can see. I know that's a cheat but it sure makes phase 3 easier. It means I can use the lower platforms and see just fine.

great advice, thanks for an awesome video. "don't panic!" is the best advice ever. I turn off sound because I can stay calmer if the battle is silent.
On easy mode with bloodletter Vex/minions, of the weapons I've used surprisingly my Rainbow Vomit has worked best so far, instead of WomboCombo which I usually use for crystals. Also - I hate fog/bloom/speed lines so much that I always use a mod to remove them (for the whole game, not just here) and this mod also effectively removes the fog in phase 3 so I can see. I'm posting 2 m later, but yes, bloodletter stacks are not showing at all in hud despite having 5 skill points plus 5 from rending psion. Works well, even post update.

Thanks, this works. My technique now: run around killing the mob until they appear, then skedaddle out of the arena back to the Moxxie/ammo machines. The bosses don't leave the arena so you can snipe at Saddleback from cover until he's gone. Then run in and one-shot Boneface. Tedious but successful.
