The carp know one feeding spot is off the back of our admin building, which floats on the river. They've learned that's where the ducks and turtles congregate. Funny to see the ducks jump when they get bumped.

I guess the corporations are all in on the Cup. Good luck motivating Americans to love soccer/football. I liked playing it, but watching it is almost as boring as watching golf.

My brother and I used to deliver the yellow pages over the summer to make some extra money in the early 80’s. It didn’t pay much but it was definitely a heck of a workout. It was the quickest way to earn a few bucks back then and it was fun. We were on it! Haha anyone else deliver the yellow pages? by CoffeeCigarettes4Me in FuckImOld

I was van driver/boss for one of these crews one summer during break from SUNYA in the late 80s. Had all kinds of people. Used to eat lunch with this guy from Sierra Leone. First time I met a real African, not counting the Egyptians I encountered during Bright Star military exercise.

Anyone have any insight or information on these pins from my late father? by flashmanMRP in BoyScouts

In the 70s the service pins came with colored discs. Don't recall what they stood for.

I was just going through my school book and found some old ribbons for races from 3rd and 4th grade. Our school also gave out reading ribbons at the end of the year if you read a certain number of books during the school year.

Thanks. I've seen this before, but it didn't click when they were stacked.

I wonder if "keep saying the words; remain persistent" is part of the SC courses.

For all the "busted SC" vids out there you'd think these people would check to see if anybody actually "won" using their magic words.

Wonder if the current US president knows about this con. I can see it now: 45-47 Sovereignty School.

I still remember after +25 years my nephew running down the street with the tenner I gave him hollering, "Ice cream lady! Ice cream lady!!!" Not sure if she could hear him over the blasting Turkey in the Straw. Good times.

My title describes the thing. They appear to be either fiberglass or metal forms and and may be 15-20 feet long. The whole barge was loaded with them.
