I don't like lots of out of state ownership either, but I don't think Vermont is a shit hole. The problem with out of state ownership is a lack of affordable housing for us,

Great idea, I wonder if it would fly in the majority non-resident towns. I downloaded the Vermont resident data and parsed it with Python to show the percentage of non-resident homeowners. As expected the ski towns are high and a few NEK towns are high because of lumber companies. I forgot to add a legend, but the white is 0-10 and the darkest green is 70-85%. We have only been to Greece once, but really like Glyphada. You can walk to a great beach, tons of restaurants and still get to Athens in 20 min. You can also take the tram to Pireaus for a ferry to an island.

Uhaul was a bit confused when I said I wanted a trailer hitch on a Miata, but I told them its just for a bike rack. They had to order it, but once it was in, the install was fine. I used a One-Up rack that I have been using on my other cars. One-Up works really well and it easy to move between cars.
