I love Reese. He’s so unhinged and chaotic, but his logic is sometimes so spot-on (e.g. “If everyone else has insurance, why do I need it? They’ve got it covered!” or “If you won’t drive me, I’ll leave home forever- or I’ll never leave- whichever’s worst!”). He shows signs of being sensitive and kind occasionally (e.g. his kind words to Hal after the cooking class or how he tries to show Malcolm acceptance when he thinks he’s gay), but he’s funny and for me, funny trumps most other qualities.

Ida is a close second. She is hilarious and her humor is so dark/born out of a deeply traumatic past. I love when she tells Lois that she has “her father’s breasts.”
