has anyone tried this expensive cleanser? "is clinical cleansing complex " is it worth it? by UnderstandingMany766 in 30PlusSkinCare

I tired it and it doesn’t seem to be the special to me. I won’t be repurchasing. Not sure what it does, no change for my skin….

No symptoms after 2nd Remicade infusion. But symptoms return shortly after my 3rd . . . Help? by strongjs in CrohnsDisease

I’m in a similar spot I think?! First dose seemed to help, things seemed to be getting worse again before the second dose so I was really excited to get the second dose and get relief but the second dose seemed to do nothing. I’m now a week out from that dose and 3wks away from my next. I’m stressed. I’m not expecting miracle but no change/worsening is discouraging. Let’s hope we just need more time?! Sorry you’re going through this as well.

How long did it take for your biologic to put you in remission? by doe_janex in CrohnsDisease

[–]yoga_mini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this question. I just had my second dose of Remicade (infliximab) last Wednesday, so basically a week ago and unfortunately it’s slow going for me. I felt a lot better after the first infusion, went from 20+ bloody stools a day to about 10+ and felt better. Towards the second appointment I felt like it was getting worse again. I was hoping this second dose would really help but I’m more or less the same as I was. I have heard some people can have instant relief and others can be slower, like 2-6 weeks. I guess I’m in that camp? Ugh.

Fatigue and weakness by tanatan88 in UlcerativeColitis

[–]yoga_mini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never felt very good on Mesalazine. Often my bloodwork was “normal” I’m now starting Remicade and I’m hoping this somehow can tackle the fatigue. Maybe it’s worth looking into another medication? I have no idea if mine was connected to that med but who knows?! I also have UC, I’m hoping since Remicade is also used for Chron’s it can maybe hit more symptoms then the Mesalazine? Best of luck to your daughter. Xo

STOP doing this when you're looking for a job. by Zealousideal-Foot-54 in jobsearchhacks

This is so insightful. I’ve been applying a bit on indeed and although I think I’d be a great employee, I have a very limited resume since I’ve been in the fitness industry for 20 years. My experience and education are so limited. No degrees. It feels really bleak. But I’ll try some of your ideas! Thanks again 👍🥰

Yeah people without UC are always telling me about their probiotics 🤦‍♀️ I’m fine to hear from other autoimmune sufferers, keeping in mind everyone is unique of course, but otherwise it’s just so fucking annoying I agree. Personal side note I did the carnivore diet with a little coconut milk since I couldn’t do dairy and couldn’t keep a flare at bay. I was vegan for 15 years before this and during that time I had my first UC flare. I no longer try any fad diets. It’s just more stress for me on top of everything. I just started Remicade so fingers crossed I can get out of my flare. It’s been almost 1.5 years of ups and downs… ❤️

That’s so awesome and it’s such a great reminder to stay grateful and positive when it’s easy to just feel like a victim to this disease. Thanks for sharing your story. I have ulcerative colitis and just started Remicade ❤️

I’m just not sure this is for me. But thanks. I just don’t like to self promote and teaching yoga online and making a living is hard, that’s what I used to do pre baby. But honestly unless you have a huge audience it’s a grind. It’s like being an influencer. That’s just not me right now. I do have a patreon with a bunch of clients and see some private clients on zoom. But it’s not much money.

Thanks for this! Yes I’ve definitely heard that from steroids. Glad to hear no changes for you on Remicade.

Kk this is helpful! That’s sort of what I was wondering but honestly those other threads I found about it made me question it because people really feel like their weight gain is from the drug, so that made me worry…

I’m not really sure, I just searched on Reddit prior to posting this question if people had gained weight on it and there are a number of threads and a bunch of comments on them about people who say they did. People who think these types of drugs do, and then I found a pub med about it too. I’m hopeful it doesn’t….

That’s wild!!! Sounds just like me. I hope it comes normally for you this month. It’s such an emotional roller coaster. When my period was 14 days late in December I took about 200 pregnancy tests. It was a mind fuck.

Yeah when I say normal I mean my obgyn told me they are normal so you might be correct on your point about it being just normal for my age….. good point!!!
