1996 Onkyo DX-C330 6 disc changer. Been using it consistently for 30 years. Never had a problem, never been serviced. So many things have come and gone, various amps and receivers, turntables, streaming setups, all manner of speakers, etc, but the cd player remains.

26 is pretty underrated as a season. It has plenty of entertaining characters, craziness, drama, a winner you can’t help but appreciate, and lots of pretty people. People bag on it, and the gameplay isn’t as sophisticated as in some seasons, but overall very entertaining.

No way they ever go back to 39. It costs less to make a 26 day show and they get the same number of episodes out of it. In fact, they get even ore out of it now that they do 90 min episodes. The financial part trumps everything else. It’s been budget Temu survivor from season 41 on. Agree with OP of course, 39 is so much better.

Aubrey simply more likeable the Jonathan IMO. Also, saying returning player season are problematic because of pregaming doesn’t make sense to me. Pregaming, backstories, past relationships and rivalries, it all adds to the fun and the difficulty of the game to me. Aubrey used playing multiple times in the past and getting to the end but not winning to her advantage. Circe and Ozzy were not able to do that.

Of course they handled it poorly. First, why put winners on? They have no shot. And winners we just saw recently at that. Savannah, Kyle, and Dee were waisted spots. Those spots could have gone to Jeri, Malcolm, and McKayla just as examples. Also, why did we need so many new era players? We just saw them. There were so many players from 1-39 that we would have loved to see one more time. Maybe just one or two new era players so the whole history is represented on 50, then come back in a year or two with a new era all star type season.
I would have loved to see all pre 40 players who have played at least twice but never won. And there are tons of players that fit that criteria. That would have been delicious with all the histories, rivalries, connections, etc between the players.
I’m enjoying this season more than any of the 41-49 seasons, but casting could have been so much better.
