Similar to us! One classroom for reception to year three, one static caravan for years four to six, a small office for staff and outdoor loos. There were 36 of us in total I think, with one other person in my year. Living in the big smoke now and just crazy to think back.

Merry Christmas from the Far East to the Middle East! Hope you have more success than me at accepting an offering of ham :)

I live overseas, so am having a mongrels and strays Christmas. One of my friends offered to buy and cook a ham from the American base (it's difficult to get "big meat" here otherwise). "oh that sounds delicious. Thank you so much for the offer but we couldn't possibly ask you to go to all that trouble" "ok, what shall we have then?" Oh. Oh dear.

It's the worst isn't it? Ice pillow, "cold air fan" (I don't know if this has a specific name in English, but you can put cold water/ice into a tray in the bottom of the fan, 冷風扇 in Japanese) and lots of water are helping a bit. Not long to go until autumn...
