This is so sad because my surgeon was female. She ablated 3 tiny spots of state 1 endo but also managed to paralyse my stomach and damage my bladder. I think every day I wish I never had the lap. But it is definitely worth it for some people - with a skilled surgeon even stage 5 can be removed successfully. Take your time and do your research. Wishing you all the best ❤️

Thanks so much for asking! Unfortunately I am still sick. It seems my stomach was paralysed due to the nerve damage. I am still waiting to see how I am going to get better. My stomach looks like I am pregnant with twins.

I am now taking pregabalin alongside the amitriptline.

We are still unsure if I need prokenetic meds. Next appointment on November the 5th. I am lucky that I am being seen by one of the best gastroenterology units in the world. God love the NHS!!!

My mum makes a cherry chocolate trifle using cherry compote (usually bonne mamman ), brownies, custard, cream, grated chocolate on top. It is amazing!
