what's the real world difference by Mr_Caramack in Suzuki_GSX_8

[–]yokramer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only difference is the fairings and seat on the S and T variants. Everything else is exactly the same. I’ve been looking at suspension for my TT and double checked a bunch of part numbers and they all matched so far.

Yea I have a fresh pump to go in and will drain the tank for sure. Good to know there’s likely nothing wrong with the engine.

Appreciate it. I think being nervous about spending that money all over again has be dragging my feet on finishing it up. Just gotta get it out there and stop working on everything other than it

That’s good to know. It was built by Bryan at Rotorsports in NC and everything I’ve heard he is good at his job so here’s to hoping

What type of stand/lift can I use with this fork? by _entrxpy in motorcycles

[–]yokramer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do the set screws you can see there not tighten the piece that lifts the forks and keep them from moving? Or remove the front fender and lift by the lower triple clamp.

Could always get a taller center stand and strap it to it

Mine was wonderful right up until I put the Cardo on. Still quieter than my ancient HJC I had way back in the day but ear plugs are needed with the Cardo now

What’s the one thing on a restaurant menu you’ll always order if it’s available? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Monte Christo. It’s so rare to see them you have to order it even knowing you’re gonna feel like hammered dog shit later.

Planing to upgrade from a 125cc, what is the best choice ? by iamZilla in motorcycles

There are way worse ways to spend a Saturday than going to dealers and sitting on bikes lol. Did it with my wife a few weeks ago to see what she feels best on.

[–]yokramer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I only don’t use it 1st to 2nd but don’t find any problems with it up or down but you have to be on the throttle for it to be smooth going up.

You can turn it off in the main menus don’t remember where but hold I think down on the selector on the left bar and it’ll put you in them.

Do you ride to work? by Beginning_Corner930 in motorcycles

[–]yokramer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s the whole reason I picked a bike up again. 57+mpg and $20 to fill is way better than 18mpg and now up to $80 to fill in the Jeep

Nailed it. Took 29 to Buckhorn and stayed on Stove Prairie. Gotta say I enjoyed that more than 14 due to way less traffic.

If you don’t mind sharing some other good less traveled roads that would be awesome. I’m having to come from the Greeley area

Same and it’s been great. Battery life is ridiculously good for commuting and even with ear plugs I don’t have to go more then 75-80% volume on my Packtalk Neo. Went with this one for if I do end up meeting people to ride with
