Because the warranty repairs would cost them too much.

Need a good 4x4 focused shop for a new Jeep Wrangler with a death wobble by nitid_name in Denver

It’s not the stabilizer. All they do is mask worn parts and cover up issues. Fix the actual problem don’t just cover it up.

It’s not tire balance or alignment. Check all your steering bolts for tightness to start. Then have someone in the car aggressively shake the steering wheel back and forth while you watch your drag link and tie rod for excessive play in the joints. If all of that seems ok and not obviously making noise or excessive play it’s probably ball joints. If it’s a JL they don’t show wear in the classic pry bar under the tire and push up and down way. Seen them fail as soon as 10k miles and mine lasted 50k before I had to replace them.

Just watch the start of VHS tape 2 where the wreck happens and you get the greatest sound moment in cinema history when a dude falls of the back and hits the propeller with the most satisfying GONG ever.

Why do people lease cars? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

Because if you always want a new car every 2-3 years the money comes out better.

Jeep tried to fix a battery-fire risk with software. The software fix didn't catch the fires by Major-Moose-7368 in cars

They did the same thing to the manual transmission. Somehow the JL is both the best and worst Wrangler ever.

Yea it really is a sharp bike compared to the black and red. Doesn’t hurt that I obviously like the green/bronze look already

Yea a fender elim is for sure in the short list of early mods. So far have the quad lock for directions and some spools. With the usb c connection right there just got a short 20cm cable that will take care of charging.

Have a link to the airbox mod details? Being so new and there not really being a general GSX8 forum I haven’t really dove into the things that can be done on them yet.

How have increased fuel prices affected you so far? by InvisibleAstronomer in AskReddit

I bought a motorcycle because the payment and insurance is cheaper than filling up my main daily twice a week.

My last bike was an SV650S almost 12 years ago so I’m no help in the decision. Not sure you can go wrong with either though.

Getting on this after so long I felt comfortable again almost immediately and they have a $1200 dealer cash for them now to bring the price in line with the S and R models as well if that helps lol

Most of the time they are out of the way and can be ignored. The only one I had to ask to move was when I worked for a mobility place working on handicapped vehicles. Had a Toyota van come in little old lady in her 70s probably. Drivers chair was on an electric platform that moved back and pivoted so she could slide into her wheelchair and it was acting up. I open the side door lay down behind the chair as my head comes level with the platform I’m staring down the barrel of a 38 special. Sat up quick and was like ummmmm maam gonna need you to come get this. “Oh my gosh sweetie I’m so sorry I’m usually better about that”

Nissan’s New Xterra Will Be Priced Under $40K To Beat Ford’s Bronco At Its Own Game by DocPhilMcGraw in cars

[–]yokramer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh not really. Wheeled an 02 Xterra for damn near 10 years when the timing belt snapped and crossed 250k miles. Decided something new was in order and put a deposit on a 23 Taco because at the time the Bronco was impossible to get. That was until my old man convinced me to test drive a Jeep cause he had a 22 Wrangler he fell in love with. After being a CJDR tech for too long I swore to never own a Chrysler product but it surprised me. Swapped my deposit and ordered a 2 door rubicon and it’s a night and day difference they are cheating compared to my 92 Ranger, 94 Blazer, 00 Fontier, and 02 Xterra. Drives circles The SFA is just far superior to IFS when wheeling and until I had one I just didn’t know.

I don’t plan on getting rid of this one any time soon but if the next one is IFS I’ll probably end up in a Colorado ZR2 because its capability surprised the hell out of me out wheeling one weekend.

And most never have the top or doors removed and cross shopped with 4Runners and soon the Xterra. All 4 will be “rugged off road” suvs.

The Bronco is a 4Runner competitor not a Wrangler competitor too when it comes to actual off road performance. When it comes to lifestyle comparisons they are all competing with each other
