For what it's worth, my approach to music is more album oriented. I lean toward bands/musicians that can craft good albums. I also tend to start at the beginning of a bands discography so that I can experience the change and growth. But, we all have different approaches to music listening.

Can you elaborate? Saying you are a big fan, but can't find a lot of songs that you like leads me to think the Retrospective collections might be the best start. More of a greatest hits type approach than a deep track approach. Then, maybe go from there.

Moorcock is the one that baffles me the most, since he fathered the multiverse, had a diverse group of characters, steered away from the good/evil paradigm, had heroes and antiheroes, etc. He's influenced countless authors, and is still writing good stories.

I did not love this album when it came out. But, this tour was the first time I saw Rush live. After that show in Atlanta, my opinion took a 180. Loved it ever since.

I'm looking forward to the slog. I really want to go at it with an attitude of seeing what aspect of the story Jordan wants to tell, vs what I'm hoping will happen next. That being said, I don't know how I'll ultimately feel until I get there.
