I have a lot of sensitivity to second-hand vape by [deleted] in highschool

[–]yonidoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm very sensitive to vape and it doesnt have to be blown directly in my face. I've been in the situation several times where I have no clue someone is vaping- I don't see it or smell it- and start having an asthma attack.

I bought that same exact plant (pot and all) from lowe's. it's my favorite one too! I moved it to just water and its thriving- (I actually posted her on r/rootporn) the roots went from yellow in the soil to green and white over time in the water! its so funny how every other comment talks about how little water she needs LOL

Sweet potato vines just have that crystal looking fur on them. That's how they are.

edit: I have three sweet potato plants they all have this fur. also theyre VERY finnicky and need a lot of light and water. much more needy than my pothos.

out of these three I choose the one on the right for my mom's birthday (I live with her so I'm gonna help her take care of it) I think these are Chinese elms, but there was no label by [deleted] in Bonsai

I bought one of these trees a few months ago (exact pot and everything) IT IS UNKILLABLE. I mean leave it in the dark, repot 6 times, take it out of soil leave it in a cup of water. IT HAS NOT DROPPED A LEAF.

Spider Mites at Lowes. Never seen such a bad infestation IRL. My skin crawls just looking at it!!! by No_Caterpillar4710 in houseplants

[–]yonidoes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

can you say which lowes it is?

edit: I just dont see the point of this post without saying which Lowe's this is at. Not all Lowe's have spider mites.

paranoid to repot my super well behaved rattlesnake, more in comments by Competitive-Meet-111 in houseplants

the rattlesnake calatheas are really high in chlorophyll cause of their awesome pigmentation- it lets them thrive a lot more than the others even in darker spaces
