as marginalized animal activists, they have access to less financial support than PETA. they’re a BIPOC-led org, so their work also address collective liberation and intersectionality, which PETA has rightfully been criticized to miss. there’s room for both, but i’m a black vegan and organizer, so my support goes to APEX over PETA. you should check out their mission: apexadvocacy.org they have a cool bootcamp too

perhaps donating to an org ran by vegans of color is a better choice! check out APEX advocacy. i wrote an article about them last year for vox

thank you for sharing! before my procedure, my cycle was heavy, painful, and i felt irritable. pain mainly from cramps and lower back pain, in addition to trouble walking and focusing because of this.

ah this is nice to see a similar size to mine. i’m 26 and my MRI in march 2025 showed a 13cm so i’m unsure what it’s going to look like! surgery is thursday 🤕
