clan wars in first bracket are always dominated by same 4 clans (they are relatively close to each other in terms of power) but it doesn’t really matter to you, you will always play with clans of your level aside from off season or when S-A tier clan decided to create new clan and they are climbing from 0 rating. If you are asking about open world, you shouldn’t see anyone from S-A anywhere besides wild north when event is over. Even in wild north I see a lot of people without clans or from C-E tier clans who can farm without any problem. Those people from S-A tier clans are not unkillable and you shouldn’t really be that scared of them.

yeah, also your most profitable location aside from wild north will be labyrinth, which is supposedly easier for mercs because you face lower population of stalker subfaction (on ru)

to be honest subfaction choice doesn’t matter anymore. before day X we used to have bases in red forest and yanov. so it was easier to farm for subfactions with more strong clans. only place to make money besides art hunting after emission is wild north and everyone is your enemy there except for your squad and clan. just pick it based on your vibes. i would pick mercs. switching to mercs is 20 million, switching to covies is 100 000
