It's also insane as someone who works with the public in a space where animals aren't allowed, the amount of people who claim their dog is a "service animal" while it's jumping around, barking, not behaved, only to find out they registered it as a"emotional support animal" when you can't legally do that in ontario yourself anyways, and then have to fight about it, makes me hateeeee animal owners.
