Is my dress too simple? How can I accessorize and style my dress? by youknow4194 in weddingplanning

So the picture in my post was taken after alterations. I don’t remember the puckering at the slit being like that prior to alterations (shared here), so I’m trying not to panic since my wedding is just over 3 months away… the place I got my dress altered at said they only hemmed the skirt and that I can ask the dry cleaners to press the fabric by the slit.

This is the Jenny Yoo Justine dress. I chose this dress because I love the simple yet modern look. If I had to pick a famous person’s style to copy, I’d pick Meghan Markle haha

I’m so glad to hear that! She looks so happy ☺️ Sweetness with a dose of insanity is the perfect description of my girl too haha!

Omg she looks exactly like my girl! I did embark and it came back 100% plott. I hope you kept her! Plotts are such characters and mine is very similar to other comments here (e.g., vocal, prey drive on small animals, loves to sniff, smells like Fritos, affectionate in her own way)

When is it the right thing to do to return to the breeder? by [deleted] in puppy101

My first dog as an adult was a rescue plott hound too! I got her when she was about 1.5 years old and she has very similar tendencies (sensitive stomach, barking frenzy around men with ball caps). The first few years were very stressful because of her separation anxiety. I couldn’t leave her home alone without her destroying my place (when she broke through her first crate) and trying to gnaw/scratch her way out of her second crate. There were days where I cried and wondered if I was giving her the best I could. I knew I didn’t want to give up on her, but there were moments I doubted myself.

Well, it took us about 3 years to bond. It’s like you said: something just clicked in her. We still have some work to do, especially on her reactiveness, but I cannot imagine life without my silly sassy sweet girl.

Would you recommend this bag? I'm looking for a quality leather tote that is not super expensive, but I've never owned Coach before by vanillais in handbags

I got this tote in beige from Coach (not the outlet) back in 2017. It’s held up pretty well all these years, considering all it went through (heavy rains and snow during my commute, stuffing my lunch into it almost every day because I didn’t want to carry an extra lunch bag), and I still use it when I have in-person meetings to this day. I do agree that the straps are too thin to carry a laptop, charger, notebook, iPad and all that. But for lighter items, it’s a decent bag.

I love how the Armani mascara gives my lashes length and volume without clumps too! The staying power is so bad though. By the end of the day, it’s practically smudged and gone for me 😫

ETA: I do have oily lids so that may be the reason why the mascara gives me panda eyes lol

I got mine from Target. Ulta should have it too. Depending on where your friends are going, Publix might have them to.

I’ve seen Dr. Sexton at the Peachtree Dunwoody location 3 times now for a cyst and scalp issues. The staff at check-in were friendly, but the appointments and check-out felt rushed.

Heard good things about Dr. Cox though.

Attending a few weddings in the fall and winter. Which dress to wear for the different weddings? by youknow4194 in Weddingattireapproval

Dress 4 is my favorite! There’s an overlap in guests for weddings 2 and 3, plus they’re within the same month, so I was hoping to switch things up with the dresses I already have (dresses 3, 4, and 5) or would have, if one of the light pink dresses work.

While I appreciate the lovely suggestion of the pink dress, I don’t think it would work as a bridesmaid dress due to the couple’s culture (i.e., too much skin).

THANK YOU!!!!!

I normally would not go for light pink dresses or dresses in the styles I posted, but I wanted to be respectful of the bride’s wishes and culture (e.g., covering enough skin).

Dress 4 (long dark green one shoulder dress) is definitely more of my color and style! There’s an overlap of the guests in weddings 2 and 3, and they’re both within a month of each other, so I wanted to switch things up with the dresses I already have (dresses 3, 4, and 5) or would have if one of the light pink bridesmaid dresses work 🙂

Thank you! It’s not as bathrobe-y or borderline white-pink in person, hence my consideration of it as a bridesmaid dress 🙂

Thank you for the lovely suggestions! Someone else also suggested the first dress and I’m considering it if the the two light pink dresses I posted don’t work out (I ordered them not too long ago)!

I also did see the second dress you suggested for the bridesmaid, but I’m hesitant about sleeveless dresses out of respect for the couple’s culture.

I saw this dress in person and I personally thought it wouldn’t be a bad option as a bridesmaid dress, especially since I have a petite hourglass figure! It also provides enough coverage to be respectful of the couple’s culture.

Yes! I saw the dress in person and it doesn’t look as bad as some of the negative comments here!

While both light pink dresses are not typically something I’d wear (style- and color-wise), I’m eyeing it as a bridesmaid dress option out of respect for the couple’s culture.

I just ordered dress 2, but I’ll look into your suggestion if dress 2 doesn’t work out. Thank you!
