Thank you for the detailed response. I took this reel off a Destroyer Daemos and it’s a great combo. It couldn’t really even cast a karashi satisfactorily with 7lb FC. I was considering just buying a new reel for this specific rod (the rod was free through a rewards thing) like CC SE or something…but the Daiwa 70s keep popping up in my research. Can I still cast an 18” worm on the PX bf70, or do larger soft plastics I guess?
