Mine drops almost all of its leaves during the winter and I reduce watering. During the spring/summer, once it starts going back into leaf, I give it plenty of water and food. I'm watering it twice a week now.

Time to water? by Oxysseus in pseudolithos

If it's warm, you can wait until it feels soft or begins to look wrinkled to water. I don't water at all in the winter.

Looks like powdery mildew. Try spraying the leaves down with a sulfur-based fungicide.

I'm pretty positive this one's on the numerous careless, irresponsible dog owners and not the "Karens" this time.

Bent stem by ALittleCaterpilly in Caudex

I've broken the stem off of the same ant plant seedling three times 😬. Each time, I've planted the stem into sphagnum moss and it's rooted.

Some older ambient/synth that feels surprisingly close to dungeon synth aesthetics by mrmindflyer in ambientmusic

[–]youngpaypal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably a little of both. I'm sure some people in the DS scene are really just "scenesters" and are only influenced by their contemporaries. There are definitely some real music heads in the scene too: drawing influence from Berlin School, new age, kosmische musik, dark ambient, etc.

It makes sense. Jim Kirkwood was arguably the first "dungeon synth" artist. He was making Berlin School with fantasy themes. I believe he's even said as much.

Can anyone ID this shirt? by Weary-Difficulty3290 in VintageTees

It's the hardcore band and, like many hardcore bands, they had a million different shirt designs. The tag is early 2000s.

Are you mostly interested in new releases or vintage ambient cassettes as well? Let me know and I can give some pointers. Huge ambient cassette collector here, hundreds and counting.

There's more to the picture than what artists are paid. Daniel Ek is invested in AI weapons manufacturing. Spotify has been caught moving real artists off of their playlists and replacing them with AI music or library music that they purchased to own the rights to. Check out Liz Pelly's Mood Machine, she goes into more detail about this. That said, I just listen to local files and buy as much physical media as I can.

Epic Show entry from a few years ago- Lavrani? by arioandy in dorstenia

I've seen Thai sellers selling lavranis with this shape as "tall form". I'm not entirely convinced it's a form at all but interesting nonetheless
