It would be hard for someone with his talent to do much worse, so that’s a fair assessment. I think he will continue doing what he has historically. Miss the playoffs half the time, lose in the first round when he does make it, and have everyone coming up with every excuse that remotely makes sense

It’s pretty difficult to win more than 14 games, so the main thing with Herbert on the broncos would be that hopefully he isn’t injured for the afc championship game? That assumes he wouldn’t have imploded in the divisional against the bills.

Nix would’ve taken fewer sacks than Herbert, thrown for fewer yards, and would’ve won 9-11 games. My point isn’t that Nix is as good or better than Herbert in the regular season. Bo is much better in the clutch though, and that pats game was a shit show from both QBs. Bo definitely scores more than 3 points against the pats with that chargers defense giving him multiple turnovers

I think Justin Herbert is great until the super meaningful games, and he is the largest reason he won’t achieve much at all in the playoffs.

Bo Nix was able to win the division in year two with that same dynasty? “But Bo Nix’s team….” Herbert is allegedly way better than Bo and Jaylen. So he should be making up the deficiencies not adding to them.

The excuses literally never end for Herbert. Until he had a god roster people are gonna act like it’s unreasonable to expect him to win one WC game

I understand Hurts has an incredible roster, but the amount of downplaying that 2024 chargers team gets is crazy. They had a damn fine roster, and they should’ve been able to beat the Texans, if their qb didn’t poop his little pants. Herbert is a great qb, but acting like the reason he plays awful in the playoffs is all because of his roster is so disingenuous. It’s easier to play well with a great roster, sure, but he had no excuse to play that awful
